The health and safety of our employees, the communities and the environment where we operate are of paramount importance at Ivy. We believe that achieving zero incidents is possible.

We are developing an  Environment, Health and Safety policy and management system based on the OHSAS 18001 framework. This will guide our way through continuous improvement. Through effective training, planning and implementation, hazards can effectively be controlled or eliminated. Our safety management system will review our practices; periodically auditing tasks and updating corporate policy to ensure the highest standards for health and safety.

Objectives

• To create a work environment where all known hazards are eliminated or safeguarded.
• Ensure people understand their jobs, are properly trained, are mentally and physically fit, and follow proper work practices so that safety is integrated into all tasks performed.
